The money your club collects
Every card payment runs on your club's own Stripe account, into your club's own bank, under your club's own tax identity. We never hold it. Here is the whole of what we take out of it:
Not a percentage, not a per-transaction charge. The subscription pays for the product.
A gift to your club is your club's. We have never taken a slice of one and don't intend to.
And nothing at all on free tickets, which is most club events.
Why tickets and not the rest
Ticketing is the one place a club would otherwise be paying somebody else. Eventbrite takes roughly 3.7% plus $1.79 a ticket, so a $35 dinner ticket costs about $3.09 there and $0.35 here. The cap is the part that matters: a $2,000 table sponsorship costs your club $1.50, not $20. A percentage with no ceiling would turn the one big fundraiser you run each year into our best month, and that is not a business we want.
Stripe's own processing fee is separate and goes to Stripe, on every card payment, exactly as it would anywhere else. Your treasurer sees all three numbers — charged, Stripe's fee, ours — on every registration.
Getting your data across
Do it yourself
FreeExport a CSV from your current system and import it. The importer shows you exactly what it will do before it does anything, and you can roll it back.
This is the right choice for most clubs. Genuinely.
Assisted migration
$250We take your export, clean it up, map the fields, and hand you back a club that's ready to use. One working session to walk through it.
Skip this if your data is already tidy — the importer handles clean exports fine.
District migration
$1,500Every club in the district migrated together, with a session for each club's secretary. For districts moving off ClubRunner or DACdb as a group.
Only worth it above about eight clubs. Below that, the per-club option costs less.
Questions
- Is there a setup fee?
- Only if you want help. Importing a CSV yourself is free and is the right choice for most clubs.
- What happens if we go over 50 members on Club Starter?
- We'll tell you and you can move up to Club Standard. Nothing stops working and nobody gets locked out mid-year.
- Does the district plan really cover every club?
- Yes. One subscription, no per-club charge and no member limit. A district with 60 clubs pays the same as a district with 12.
- Do you take a cut of our dues or donations?
- No. Those run on your club's own Stripe account into your club's own bank, and we take no percentage of either. Event tickets are the one exception and the only one: 1% of paid tickets, never more than $1.50 an order, and nothing at all on free events.
- Can we cancel?
- Any time, and you can export everything first. Your data leaves with you.
